Our partner RevSpark approached us with the opportunity to revamp the website for one of the world's largest compliance training companies.
Interactive Services needed their site to better represent their brand and further establish their position as one of the world's leading providers of compliance training. Their old site was outdated, basic, and wasn't working for them as hard as it could have been.
Interactive Services sought to rebrand their directory of offerings, updating the design of the site to make it more attractive to potential customers. They also wanted to add more points of data collection to improve marketing effort results and drive conversions.
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL.
HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the standard markup language for creating web pages and web applications.
Custom CSS allows us to build as lightweight as possible while maintaining performance.
PHP is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development.
Interactive Services required a lot of content on their site. We can't blame them - they do a lot of business! It was a challenge laying it all out, though.
Our philosophy on this project was to break content up in a way that makes sense, taking a very blocky structure. This structure also aligned well with their brand.
Organization of content was key, so we decided to take a top-down approach from most-relevant to least-relevant. This reduced a great amount of scrolling for the majority of users but allowed us to maintain the rich content.
